SRE in Dallas. Building Pleesh on the side.

The pitch

I build MCP servers that connect AI agents to real systems. 3–5 day sprints, $2,500–$5,000. I also offer fractional DevOps for Series A–C startups. That’s it. That’s the whole pitch.

Background

Site Reliability Engineer at a quantitative finance firm. I’ve spent the last decade building cloud infrastructure, automating engineering teams, and shipping software at scale. I’ve been the only ops person on small teams; I’ve been one of many on large ones. Both modes have lessons.

Why MCP

It’s the missing link between AI hype and AI usefulness. Most consultants are still figuring out what MCP even is — I’ve already shipped multiple production servers. The pattern is consistent: teams that integrate AI through MCP outship teams that paste tokens into chat windows.

How I work

Async-first. Production-grade. Documented. No vendor lock-in. Daily updates during sprints. Source code in your repository. Loom walkthroughs over hour-long meetings whenever possible.

What I’m not

  • Not a generalist — I do MCP and DevOps. That’s it.
  • Not an agency — you work with me, not a junior assigned to your account.
  • Not the cheapest — fixed-scope sprints are priced for outcome, not hours.
  • Not interested in projects that require zero technical uncertainty — those don’t need a senior engineer.

Personal

Based in Dallas. Travel often. Coffee, mechanical keyboards, a mild obsession with terminal tooling.
